SRC Equine Bodywork is committed to your horse and your goals whether for performance or pleasure. While I pursue the most up-to-date education and research to bring you the best tools to achieve optimal performance and wellness, I most sincerely appreciate the connection, trust and relationship that is developed as a result of partnering with you and your horse.
Hi, I'm Shana.
I grew up with horses from the time I was 18 months old. My background has varied, starting with hunter/jumper lessons, then showing Arabians in halter, English and Western Pleasure. I also had the opportunity to gain experience in breeding and training by working for breeders and show barns of various breeds and disciplines. I returned to my hunter/jumper roots as an older adult rider after college, while raising a family and a enjoying careers in early childhood education, business and project management.
I received my Equine Body Worker Certification through Equinology, Inc, one of few Institutes that is RACE approved (American Association of Veterinary State Board’s Registry of Approved Continuing Education). They are regarded for their research and evidence-based approach to education. Instructors included veterinarians, PhDs, Physiotherapists and Master Bodyworkers.
